WPUI Updates
Exciting things are happening with WPUI! We’re making great strides on both internal and client requirements, which are driving continuous improvements. We’re refreshing UI patterns, polishing existing ones, and adding new features. One notable update is the enhancement to ActionPanels, frequently used across various applications. We’ve also introduced ‘App Shells’ to simplify setting up custom plugin apps using React. This is not only beneficial for our main projects but also for our internal side projects. Additionally, we’re refining existing UI patterns, especially around cards. Expect to see updates and new posts this month, focusing on better ways to preview and consume this information.
WordPress Playground Blueprint Builder
We’ve been developing an exciting new tool, the WordPress Playground Blueprint Builder, an idea born at WordCamp Europe. Our team has dedicated several hours to conceptualizing development and execution. This tool will enable users to create and manage playground blueprints using a block editor. These blueprints can be stored as custom post types and built using blocks. Users will be able to copy, preview, and download their blueprints directly from the editor. Stay tuned for its release by the end of september!
FilamentPHP Adventures
Our team recently explored the capabilities of FilamentPHP while developing a bulk WhatsApp messaging tool. This experience sparked a wave of creativity, leading us to build several quick internal tools. As open-source enthusiasts, we are excited to polish these projects and share them with the community. Keep an eye out for these open-source releases from your friendly “OpenSource Pandas.”
Frappe & ERPNext
We’re thrilled to announce our ongoing efforts to migrate some of our processes to ERPNext. This includes setting up Frappe HRMS for hiring and team management, as well as moving our leads and customer processes to Frappe CRM. Our team is eagerly looking forward to embracing all the benefits of Frappe and attending the upcoming Frappe Verse event.
Consulting and B2B Training
We’re excited to share that we’re extending our expertise to the business world by helping two companies upskill their teams and establish efficient processes. As early adopters of Block Editor (Gutenberg), we’ve embraced this tool wholeheartedly. Our journey to maximize its potential has given us deep insights into the Block Editor and its foundational components.
We’re currently working with two teams, sharing our knowledge and experiences:
- Leveraging Block Themes: We’re guiding them on how to get the most out of the Block Editor by understanding its processes and implementing effective strategies.
- Mastering Block Editor Fundamentals: We’re helping the team grasp the core principles of the Block Editor and build custom solutions. This includes upskilling their team members on block development.
By sharing our expertise, we’re empowering these teams to harness the full power of the Block Editor, improving their productivity and technical capabilities.
Titan, Fastrack & Skinn
We’re thrilled to be working with Titan, Fastrack, and Skinn on some exciting projects! For Fastrack, we’re crafting user manuals and packaging that are both stylish and easy to understand, ensuring a seamless experience for their customers. With Titan, our creative juices are flowing as we design engaging emailers, captivating video ads, and eye-catching posters that truly reflect the brand’s elegance and innovation. Over at Skinn, we’re putting together stunning vendor merchandising displays that highlight their exquisite fragrances, making sure they stand out beautifully in retail spaces. Our goal across all these projects is to blend creativity with functionality, making sure each brand’s unique personality shines through in every piece we create.
