Love them or hate them, sliders are an essential feature on modern websites, adding flair, functionality, and a touch of interactivity to pages. Requirements for sliders or carousels have been a common ask for websites we have built. We have been trying different solutions, not to reinvent the wheel, but nothing seems to click that sweet spot. From being clunky in UI/UX to overloaded options, issues with performance optimization. We are passionate about extending the Block Editor and like to keep things close to the core. Most of the plugins feel forced into the Block Editor.
BlaBlaBlocks is our creative playground of customising Block Editor(Gutenberg), built through experimentation and hands-on development to solve real-world needs across client and internal WordPress projects.
To address this, we created the BlaBlaBlocks Slider Block, a simple and feature-rich block that keeps it close to the core.

Future Enhancements
We are continuously evolving the BlablaBlocks Slider Block to meet our needs. Here’s what is on our roadmap based on website migration and Full Site Editing (FSE) rebuild, our team is working on:
