Love them or hate them sliders are an essential feature on modern websites, adding flair, functionality, and a touch of interactivity to pages. Requirements for sliders or carousels have been a common ask for websites we have built. We have been trying different solutions not to reinvent the wheel, but nothing seems to click that sweet spot. From being clucky in UI/UX to overloaded options issues with performance optimization. We are passionate about extending Block Editor and like to keep things close to the core. Most of the plugins feel like forced into the Block Editor.

To address this, we created BlaBlaBlocks Slider Block— a simple and feature-rich block that keeps it close to the core.

We’re continuously evolving the BlablaBlocks Slider Block to meet our needs. Here’s what’s on our roadmap based on website migration and Full Site Editing (FSE) rebuild our team is working on:
